Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (SSFF & ASIA) is pleased to announce the final shortlist (finalists) for the Horror & Suspense Category.

The open call for submissions for the Horror & Suspense Category closed on Thursday, April 30, 2026. During the submission period, we received a vast number of creative works filled with subtle discomforts lurking in everyday life, horror hidden deep within human relationships, and addictive qualities that make you instinctively want to share them. Thank you very much to everyone who submitted their horrific creations.

Indecipherable explores the difficulty of translation and interpretation, asking how nearly identical words can be perceived in completely different ways depending on language, culture, and context.
